You can find such cathedrals in Odessa, as St. Nicolas’ church, St.Martyrs’ Andrew and Natalie church, Greek Church, All Saints church, St. Archangel’s Michael Female monastery, St. Pantelemon Fenale Monastery.
Saviour- Transfiguration cathedral. The construction of the cathedral started in 1795 and continued with constant upgrades and alterations until 1903.
For many decades Saviour-Transfiguration Cathedral was the center of spiritual life for Odessa and Novorossiysky region.
The cathedral was barbarically destroyed in the mid 1930's. It has been reconstructed on originl foundation.

The church of St. Gregory the Theologian and St. Zoya was being constructed 1895-1986. The church is located on 18, Staroportofrankovskaya street.
It was concecrated in March of 1896 and quickly became a house church for school. In the second half of the 1930's , the church was closed. A gymnasium was built inside.
During the years of Nazy occupation , the church was reopened.
After the war the church was abandoned. It was not until 1990 that the church of Gregory and Zoya was restored to its original splendor.
